He was excellent to work with and as we live 200 miles away he was trusted to manage everything along with Anthony who managed things on a daily basis. I cant recommend Andrew enough. She did not rush us and was happy to sit and chat and answer all of our questions. We were able to sell our property for significantly more than other estate agents had valued it at. Mark also helped with house viewings and was our point of contact once the sale was agreed. A Step-by-Step Guide to Becoming a Tenant

Register Your Interest

Start by registering with Denny Knight Lettings and sharing your property requirements. This helps us match you with suitable homes as soon as they become available.

Arrange and Attend Viewings

Once suitable properties are identified, we’ll arrange viewings at a convenient time. This gives you the opportunity to explore the property and ask any questions.

Submit Your Application

If you wish to proceed, you’ll complete a rental application form providing basic personal details and tenancy information. You can even do this on our website, head to our 'Tenant Application Form'

Referencing Checks

We will carry out standard referencing checks, which may include credit history, employment and income verification, previous landlord references, and right-to-rent checks.

Offer Acceptance & Tenancy Agreement

Once referencing is successful, we’ll confirm your tenancy offer. You’ll then review and sign the Assured Shorthold Tenancy agreement outlining all terms and conditions.

Pay Initial Funds

Before move-in, you’ll be required to pay your first month’s rent and security deposit, which will be protected in a government-approved scheme.

Move-In & Property Handover

On the agreed move-in date, you’ll receive the keys and a full property handover, including inventory details and any relevant instructions.

Ongoing Support

Throughout your tenancy, our team remains available to assist with maintenance, queries, and any support you may need to ensure a smooth and comfortable living experience.
